Minoxidil plus is a thicker solution than other alcohol and propylene glycol based formulas. The one thing minoxidil plus does really well is that it works and doesn't cause scabby looking sores and irritation. It is also less expensive than the original brands with additional ingredients such as caffeine and saw palmetto. For these reasons, I would like to continue using it but there is some room for improvement.

Minoxidil plus is winning so far after a month trial with no intense itching and scalp flaking. Highly recommend it if you have similar issues.

After trying three other minoxidil products within the space of 6 weeks, from Regaine and Foligain, I had developed an itch that was absolutely incompatible with life. The itch kept me awake all night, and I couldn't think straight or focus at work due to the constant severe itch. I am at the end of my first my three months and seeing less hair shedding. I also find it is no more greasy than minoxidil foam. Also starting to use it on my brows and beard and there is no skin irritation.
